Conference information
Every year,
ANZCA conducts a conference for its membership and interested persons,
examining all facets of Communication. There are refereed and unrefereed
sections of the conference, and refereed papers are published through
the website in the weeks prior to the Conference. Academics, post-graduate
students and community representatives are all encouraged to submit
papers for presentation. Links at the right hand column take you to
past conferences of ANZCA, and some of these sites include links to
past papers.
Details of the 2008 ANZCA conference 'Power and Place' in Wellington, New Zealand, are now available at the Conference Page http://anzca08.massey.ac.nz or click on the conference logo at right.
ANZCA2007 will be held in Melbourne from July Thursday 5th to Friday 6th with
an associated seminar – Public Service Broadcasting in Asia and
the Pacific –on Saturday morning, July 7th, followed by a workshop
for postgraduates and early career researchers. The theme of the conference
is Communications, Civics, Industry. ANZCA2007 and associated events
are supported by La Trobe University (Media
Studies Program) , and University of Melbourne (Centre
Media and Communications Law) .
ARC Asia Pacific Futures Research Network – APFRN
ANZCA2007 acknowledges the support the ARC Asia Pacific Futures Research
Network who have provided funding for the seminar Public Service Broadcasting
in Asia-Pacific and the workshop Research Approaches & Methodologies
for Policy Outcomes. APFRN also provided six travel assistance grants
for postgraduates.
